The Crystal Maggie x Night Shift: Devil Division Collaboration

At Crystal Maggie, we’ve always believed that dice are more than just randomized number generators—they are the physical anchors of your story.

Today, we are taking you back to the neon-drenched streets of 199X Tokyo. We are incredibly excited to officially reveal our latest collaborative project: Night Shift: Devil Division.

What is Night Shift: Devil Division?

It's a game that will make you feel like a badass shonen anime character kicking the piss out of grotesque Devils and Monsters in 199X Tokyo. Following the 1991 bubble burst, Tokyo became a pressure cooker of human spirit—millions of lives stacked in towers and threaded through narrow schedules. In this world, fear manifests as monsters. The stronger the fear, the stronger the Devil.

The Design: A Piece of 90s Tactical Hardware

When the team at Slightly Reckless Games approached us, we were instantly hooked by their vision of high-tech exorcism and 90s anime grit.

Our challenge? To create dice that felt like they were standard-issue equipment for a secret government agency in 1990s Japan.

We leaned into the "Clear Craze"—the iconic translucent look of vintage electronics—and combined it with our signature high-transparency resin. The result is a set of two D10s and two D6s that look like tactical hardware, perfectly optimized for the visceral combat of the 199X system.
